First Phase Roll-Out

🔋 In this scheme, solar panels, batteries, fans, and bulbs will be provided to 32,500 houses.

Funding & Scale

💰 A total investment of 55 billion rupees has been allocated in this scheme for government buildings 🏛️ and low-income families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

🏡 Under this initiative, 65,000 homes were upgraded with free solar systems, while another 65,000 received subsidized systems through a cost-sharing model — 50% by the government and 50% by the beneficiaries.
